Skincare

Taking care of yourself is super important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Be sure to take time for self care and have a well established skincare routine. Often teens do not know what their skin type is and therefore have issues finding products that work for them.

Exercise

Exercise is one of the most important things you can do for both your physical and mental health. It boosts your mood, reduces stress and increases focus. Students are often stressed with the huge amount of work and lack physical movement on a daily basis. With busy schedules, taking time to fit 30 minutes of exercise in your day is an excellent achievement. Below are a few exercises that you can easily do at home.

Nutrition

Exercise is not the only factor to keeping a healthy fit body. Eating the right kinds of food is super important as it provides your body with the necessary nutrients. Studying all day and skipping meals is very bad for you because it prevents your body from getting the fuel you need. Therefore, it is important to eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Protein is also good for building muscle. Make sure to eat sweet foods in moderation as they could cause diseases along the way. Below are some recommended meals and healthy recipes you can try!

Sleep

Sleep is critical for the body after a long day of studying. Your brain needs time to process the information you were studying, so giving yourself that sleep is in fact very helpful to retaining that information. Teens should have 8-10 hours of sleep per night as your body is still developing. Create a comfortable environment and put your phone away to avoid disruptions. These early years are crucial so you should not take sleep for granted.
